Émerger

Our restoration project in France has brought us to our knees in every way. We emerge from old tattered skins, raw and uncomfortable. With each layer pealed off we are liberated, more able to absorb and be nourished by our environment.

Linoleum

Lindi, influenced by frescos from Villa Livia in Rome, set about carving vignettes of the hamlet into linoleum removed from a bedroom.

Drawings, Stained Glass – France

Chalkboard drawing removes a ‘veil of preciousness’, allows for immediacy and experimentation that can later be transferred to more fixed materials.
